Glenn Bernardis Biography

Glenn Bernardis is a talented and versatile producer, engineer, composer and performer whose production credits include internationally acclaimed classical music ensembles, giants of contemporary jazz and regional rock groups. Glenn is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a degree in audio production, electronic music and computer music systems and has mentored with computer music pioneer Lejaren Hiller, contemporary composer David Felder, and Buffalo area recording icon Steve Bradley.

Glenn's performance career has included work with Leah Zicari and the Real Deal, Ike Smith, Tanya Diona and Splash, Mr. Funny, Juke Box, The Mudslingers, The Late Show, The Italics, numerous theatrical productions, and most recently with the contemporary Celtic music group Kilbrannan, for which he engineered and produced their latest album "Bedlam Boys". He has also acted as producer and studio musician for clients such as Tony Levin, Leah Zicari, Jack Prybylski, 5*7, Basic and many others. His proficiencies include guitar, electric bass, keyboards, percussion and voice.

Mr. Bernardis has been studying martial arts for over 18 years and holds the rank of Nidan in the art of Shorinji Kempo. Glenn is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, hiking, skiing, yoga, and is an Adirondack 46er, having climbed all 46 of the highest peaks in New York State's largest national park. He is also a glider pilot who holds the FAI Silver C achievement badge. Other interests include: culinary arts, literature, film, photography and travel.
